The a-part festival

Starting in 2010, each iteration of this contemporary art festival, created by Leïla Voight, takes place in unique and historical locations in the Alpilles region. Visual artists gather from around the world to participate in gatherings, exchanges, and interactions with the public while in the presence of their artworks.

None of this would be possible without the generosity of the artists who donate both their time as well as their art and the tireless efforts of the members of A3-art who work behind the scenes to organize the festival at no cost. Every exhibition is free to the public thanks to the continued support of local municipalities, institutions, and international partnerships.

Additionally, the festival benefits greatly from The Association of Friends of the Festival who welcome the artists into their homes. Festival a-part also works with associate curators, such as Ariel Kyrou, who help realize the vision of a multidisciplinary art experience that is open to locals and travelers alike.
